SUMMER 17'

Hiya People!
I know it has been a very long time again, I didn't realise the last post was in April! I did draft a couple of posts that didn't post (which is kinda annoying!) so I thought I would quickly do a post, sharing a picture of my sister and I, a couple of weeks ago when London had that beautiful heat wave! But I hope you regular readers are well and haven't lost hope in my blog lol
It has been abit of a crazy few months, I probably haven't been in the best mindset to sit down and be positive and write about things that I probably wouldn't want to talk about, so that's why there hasn't been any blog posts recently. but I am back! and feeling a lot more positive and motivated!
Keep an eye out for some more posts this week!
I have also been active on all my other socials, so don't forget to follow me if you haven't already!

APRIL

Hi guys!
Oh how it has been a while! I have been on and off of blogger, checking up on my blog and browsing through some of my favourite bloggers posts over the last couple of weeks and just haven't felt like I wanted to post something that was worth it (if that makes some sense lol) but I have finished work early and currently sitting in the garden enjoying this sunshine London has got today, and felt like I was ready to do a post. I have been working a lot recently so that's sadly my excuse for not posting, but like always with me, as I am in the mood I will be drafting some posts for the next week or so (hopefully).
I also have spent a little while updating my SHOP page with some of my favourite 'Summer/Spring' items! have a look if you want to get some inspiration and let me know if you like any of them yourself.

MY WAYS TO FIND INSPIRATION FOR BLOGGING

I think people call it 'Bloggers block', and boy I have had my fair share of this the last month or so! mainly because I have been working a lot and just haven't got round to drafting blog posts, but I am back today with some of the things I do to get some inspiration for posts. I hope they help you with some ideas and inspiration!

Browse social media - Instagram, Blogs, Pinterest, Tumblr. I think we all do this all day everyday and I think if you explore pages that you don't normally look at, you will be surprised at what you find! I could spend hours browsing on them and after a while, I would just get inspiration, whether it is for a blog post or an outfit I could put together or a makeup look or a cute makeup dressing table set up that I stumbled across on Pinterest.

Google! - have a look on Google, type in what you want to know and then have a browse through the websites or mainly blogs that have got long lists of blog post ideas or titles or inspiration. this isn't something I do as much now but last year I did find myself going to Google for some help and in the process I found some of my favourite bloggers!

Go outside - go shopping, go for a walk and get some of that h2o! I have sat at my laptop for so long, trying to figure out some ideas and started posts that I just wasn't passionate about, so I end up deleting it and I am back to the beginning again. now I tend to just give myself a little time and if I cant think of anything, I close my laptop and move onto something else. listen to some music and distract yourself and trust me you will get inspired by something or someone!

Get a note pad - grab yourself a pen and just doodle some post titles or subjects that you know about or are passionate about. I'm not saying write down a blog post but just keep notes or just write/draw ideas and just roll with it. I tend to do this a lot, if I am out working and think of a blog post idea, I quickly right down everything that pops into my head, it is mainly random words and small sentences, simply because I when I go home and sit with the laptop, I normally think of even more things to add to an idea or sometimes even think of another post idea. just get creative! its your blog, so you can talk about whatever you like!

Give your blog a makeover - its like getting a new pair of shoes or a sexy highlighter when your feeling a little bit shitty or when you just feel like treating yourself lol there isn't anything wrong with investing in something that your passionate about and enjoy doing. I updated my blog a few months ago, and it was the best thing I did and was so easy. There are so many websites that sell blog layouts, so have a look around and find one that you like! scroll down to the bottom of my page and check out the designer of mine, he even set mine up for me (as I didn't have a clue where to start! I am still coming to terms with html guys lol)

3 THINGS I DID TO GET OVER A BREAKUP

I think a breakup, at the time, can seem like the worst thing that could possibly happen at that moment in time. well that's what I thought at least! and I continued to think this for a while and I just couldn't get past it. I really did struggle, I got depressed, I put on weight and I did things that I didn't normally do. It took me a couple of months, to finally start to move on ad begin to clear my head. anyways I am blabbing, I just thought that it could be a good post idea and a gentle reminder of how I
got through it, even when I really thought I couldn't.

Started going for runs and gradually getting into fitness
Any form of exercise helped me so much and it was the short runs and getting a fitness bike that kept my mind going. any time I felt sad/angry or any type of feeling, I would literally getting changed and go for a run or a walk, to clear my head. I now find exercise as a form of therapy and our body's and minds are all connected and I had to go through some deep pain to figure this out. so now I have got myself into the habit of, as soon as I start to feel stressed or low or having a shit day, I know I need to get to the gym or just do some exercises in my room. This is my top tip, as I found it works best for me.

Spend time with friends and family
when your first get into a relationship it is so exciting and fun and the butterflies are there and everything is new - best feeling ever when in the moment. but regardless of being in a relationship or having just got out of a relationship, some girls are guilty of neglecting their friends or not making as much effort as your normally probably would. a lot of time, it is harmless and not done on purpose but as I said before, honeymoon period is so real and we all get caught up in our feelings lol. so make time for your friends and family, make memories, laugh and just do things to keep your mind busy.

Get lost in a book
I do love getting lost in a book and I didn't realise how much this would make a difference to keeping my mind busy as much as it did. It took a couple books to find authors that I enjoyed reading but once I did, I was finishing books after 4 days. and plus, there are lots of self-help books nowadays that you can get lost in and slowly repair yourself.
